Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support data analysis, planning, optimization, and execution of transportation operations across the supply chain. You will analyze networks, drive cost reductions, and improve service while partnering with Operations, Finance, and 3PL providers.

This role emphasizes data-driven recommendations, KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize transportation strategies and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• 4+ years in transportation, logistics or supply chain with focus on fleet or carrier management.
• Proven project management experience with complex timelines and budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels and partners.
• Strong data visualization skills with Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Transportation Network Data Analytics and Reporting: analyze the network, build dashboards and executive reports, use TMS and other tools for insights.
• Operational Improvement Project Management: lead projects from concept to completion, manage scope, timelines and budgets.
• Stakeholder Management: liaise between internal teams and 3PL carriers.
• Data Analysis & KPI Reporting: monitor KPIs, identify trends, present findings to leadership.
• Budget & Timeline Management: manage project budgets and schedules.
• Process Optimization: standardize and improve transportation processes.
• Problem Solving: address transportation challenges with data-driven solutions.
