Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support data analysis, planning, optimization, and execution of transportation operations across the supply chain. You will analyze the transportation network, develop dashboards, and drive cost-saving opportunities while improving service and operational efficiency.

You will lead projects, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal teams and 3PL providers to implement strategies that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management with focus on dedicated fleet operations or carrier management.
• Proven experience in project management with complex timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics of transportation network to identify cost reductions and service improvements; develop dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Lead transportation-related projects from concept to completion; define scope, timelines and budgets.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and 3PL carriers to align on strategies and execution.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to assess fleet performance and present insights to leadership.
• Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure on-time delivery within financial parameters.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and improvement across transportation operations.
• Proactively solve transportation challenges using data and collaborative methods.
