Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to analyze the transportation network, plan, optimize, and execute transportation strategies across the supply chain. You will work with cross-functional teams, 3PL providers, and leadership to drive cost reductions, service improvements, and operational efficiency.

The role requires strong data analysis, project management, and stakeholder influence. You will develop dashboards, manage budgets, and champion best practices in transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• 4+ years experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, with focus on fleet operations or carrier management.
• Proven project management experience with complex timelines and budgets.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets and ability to derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Transportation Network Data Analytics and Reporting: analyze the network, develop dashboards and reports.
• Lead and manage transportation-related projects from initiation to completion.
• Stakeholder Management: liaison between internal teams and 3PL carriers.
• Data Analysis & KPI Reporting: monitor KPIs and present insights to leadership.
• Budget & Timeline Management: manage budgets and schedules.
• Process Optimization: identify opportunities for standardization and improvements.
• Problem Solving: address transport challenges with data-driven methods.
