Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support data analysis, planning, optimization, and execution of transportation operations across the supply chain. This role focuses on the efficient movement of materials and finished products between distribution centers, warehouses, and end customers while driving improvements in service, cost, and operational performance.

You will leverage data analysis, TMS, and BI tools to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• 4+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven project management experience with timelines and budgets.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets and trends.
• Experience with data visualization tools Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Transportation Network Data Analytics and Reporting: analyze network data, develop dashboards, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Operational Improvement Project Management: lead projects from conception to completion, defining scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Stakeholder Management: liaise between internal teams and external 3PL carriers.
• Data Analysis & KPI Reporting: monitor KPIs, identify trends, and present findings to leadership.
• Budget & Timeline Management: manage budgets and ensure on-time delivery within parameters.
• Process Optimization: standardize processes and implement best practices across transportation operations.
• Problem Solving: address complex transportation challenges using data and collaboration.
