HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Program Manager in Irvine to lead complex infrastructure programs leveraging HDR’s multidisciplinary teams. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects, directing activities across planning, design, construction, and risk management to deliver value.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication with executives, and experience with DB, PDB, or CMAR delivery methods, in a dynamic, employee-owned culture.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of program management in a deputy role to the Program Manager for a portfolio with capital value ≥ $200M, or 5+ years as Project Manager/Controls Manager for programs ≥ $200M, or 10+ years directing multidisciplinary teams on ≥2 projects with value ≥ $50M each.
• Strong leadership and experience building cohesive teams across locations.
• Excellent communication skills for client executives and public settings.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR).
• Familiar with PMIS, CMIS, scheduling, cost control, document management, risk management, asset management, dashboard analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community facets to ensure program success.
• Plan, direct, and monitor program execution across disciplines.
• Identify risks and provide strategic guidance and resources to address challenges.
• Develop and implement program management plans, startup plans, and work plans to drive efficiencies and accountability.
• Direct HDR and subconsultant teams, ensuring alignment and contract compliance; monitor performance and QA/QC.
• Monitor financial performance against metrics and adjust to meet earnings targets.
• Grow HDR’s program management practice by maintaining client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.
• Perform other duties as needed.
