Job summary

NFI is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to direct the Dedicated Fleet operation and assist the Project Manager with daily execution. The role emphasizes driver relations, dispatch duties, and cross-functional coordination to ensure service levels remain high.

The position offers a base hourly pay of $25.00 with a comprehensive benefits package and potential extended hours as needed. On-site work in the United States with typical logistics responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• MS Office and TMW experience.
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask.
• Ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive relationships with drivers.
• Communicates service issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Performs load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatching.
• Coordinates daily data entry into NFI’s order-management system (TMW).
• Coordinates with home-office invoicing to ensure timely weekly customer invoices.
• Ensures timely completion of daily and weekly tasks.
• Provides weekly KPI/performance data reports.
• Coordinates daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance.
• Works with safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance and HOS issues.
• Assists Project Manager with Safety, Security and Labor policies.
• Provides coverage during vacations/holidays as needed.
• Manages and maintains driver payroll.
• Audits and approves driver expense reports.
• Assists Project Manager as needed.
