Job summary

NFI is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the Dedicated Fleet operation and support the Project Manager as needed. You will lead driver communications, coordinate load planning and dispatch, and ensure smooth daily execution of tasks across the network.

The role requires 2–3 years in logistics, proficiency with MS Office and TMW, and strong customer service and problem-solving skills. We offer a competitive hourly rate and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Experience with MS Office and TMW preferred.
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask.
• Ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch using Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources.
• Enter data into NFI's order-management system (TMW) daily.
• Coordinate with home-office invoicing to ensure timely customer invoices.
• Provide weekly KPI/performance reports to internal and external parties.
• Coordinate daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance.
• Work with safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance and HOS issues.
• Assist Project Manager with implementing NFI's Safety, Security and Labor policies.
• Assist and provide coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary.
• Manage and maintain driver payroll.
• Audit and approve driver expense reports.
• Provide assistance to Project Manager wherever needed.
