Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data analytics and Lean methods across operations. You will lead CI projects, drive root-cause analysis, and coordinate with operations management to raise safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

You will coach teams in Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and PDCA while delivering tangible improvements and sustaining results for customers; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years' experience in Transportation or Supply Chain.
• Experience with Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL.
• Advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio skills required.
• Knowledge of BI tools and data visualization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data, performs analysis, and maps processes to drive CI initiatives.
• Manages CI projects end-to-end and supports go-live and steady-state certifications.
• Develops competency in Lean methods and coaches teams on CI and Lean.
• Facilitates Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events to achieve results.
• Provides regular data reports and recommends supply chain strategies.
