Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply CI, engineering, and automation methods across operations.

You will drive change through data-driven analyses, support root-cause identification, and collaborate with all levels of the organization to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will lead CI projects, develop competency in lean tools, coach teams, map value streams, and report progress to management while aligning with transportation and supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain.
• Transportation experience with TMS, network planning or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; identifies process gaps and implements improvements.
• Manages CI and engineering projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develops competency in wide range of engineering methods, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events; coach lean methods.
• Provide regular reports of data and actions to measure progress against site objectives.
