Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, engineering, and automation efforts across operations. You will lead process improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost, interfacing with multiple levels of management and staff.

You will leverage data analytics, lean methodologies, and change management to drive root-cause analysis and sustained improvements, partnering with Operations Management to implement transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in transportation or supply chain industries.
• Experience in transportation management or related systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to identify process gaps.
• Manage CI and engineering projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop and demonstrate competency in Lean tools and CI methodologies.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events to drive sustained improvements.
• Report progress and provide data-driven recommendations to site leadership.
