Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI and engineering methods across operations. You will drive change, analyze data, and leverage lean tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost, interfacing with employees at all levels.

The role emphasizes transportation knowledge, experience with Power BI dashboards, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with Appian Direct Route or similar tools. Travel occasionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Transportation experience in Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL.
• Experience maintaining Power BI dashboards and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Familiarity with transportation modeling software such as Appian or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps and documents processes.
• Develop and manage a continuous improvement plan to drive value for customers.
• Lead CI and engineering projects; support go-live and steady-state certifications.
• Coach teams in Lean methods; apply PDCA, value stream mapping, and Kaizen.
• Provide regular data reports to measure progress against site objectives; inform Supply Chain strategy.
