Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to advance operations using data-driven CI, engineering, and automation. You will leverage Lean tools, data analytics, and Power BI to identify root causes and drive value for customers, interfacing with employees across levels and functions.

The role requires transportation knowledge, strong Excel/Power BI proficiency, and experience leading CI projects with cross-functional teams. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or related field.
5+ years in transportation or supply chain industry.
Transportation experience including TMS, LTL, FTL and dedicated services.
Strong data visualization with Power BI; Excel and PowerPoint mastery.

Responsibilities

Identify and drive continuous improvement across operations to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Develop and manage CI plans; support go-live and steady-state certifications.
Coach teams in lean methods, value stream mapping, Kaizen and 5S.
Analyze data, build dashboards, and present project outcomes to stakeholders.
