Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply CI methods across operations, using data analytics and lean tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will interface with employees at all levels and drive transformation plans leveraging Power BI dashboards and Excel to deliver measurable value. The role requires strong transportation experience, Power BI proficiency, and the ability to coach teams in CI and lean practices while leading cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in transportation or supply chain industries.
• Transportation experience including TMS, dedicated, FTL/LTL required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); data visualization skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and SQL advisable; lean CI experience helpful.
• Experience leading standard work, value stream mapping, and PDCA cycles.

Responsibilities

• Apply continuous improvement methods to identify and drive change across operations.
• Maintain and analyze Power BI dashboards to monitor key metrics.
• Lead CI projects from initiation to sustainment; support go-live and certifications.
• Coach teams in lean methods and CI tools; facilitate Kaizen events and VSMs.
• Provide regular data-driven reports; recommend supply chain strategies.
