Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to advance operations through data-driven CI, engineering, and Lean methods. You will identify gaps, map processes, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Required transportation modeling knowledge and strong Power BI/Excel skills; Appian Direct Route experience is a plus. Occasional travel may be needed, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires transportation management/route optimization knowledge and a strong analytic mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is required.
• Experience with data visualization and SQL/DAX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to drive CI improvements.
• Manage CI and engineering projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Coach teams on Lean principles and implement Kaizen events.
