Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to advance data-informed transportation planning across the supply chain. You will optimize networks, improve service levels, and drive efficiency by leveraging TMS data and BI tools.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder collaboration, and experience managing complex transportation projects. Travel 10-15% is required and the anticipated salary range is disclosed below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• PMP certification and/or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain with project management exposure.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets and trend identification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation network data to identify cost reductions and service improvements.
• Lead transportation-related projects from concept to completion, with scope, timelines and budgets.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and external 3PL providers for aligned execution.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to assess fleet performance and drive actionable insights.
• Manage budgets and timelines to ensure on-schedule project delivery.
