Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to lead complex, large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.

You will drive project approvals, negotiate terms, and coordinate with HDR policy, risk, and legal teams across regions and markets. Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of professional engineering experience on large transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading diverse teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director and oversee Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policy and required authorities.
• Coordinate with HDR leadership and regional leads on contractor and developer relationships.
• Negotiate contract terms with HDR Legal and risk committees.
• Engage with external organizations to raise HDR visibility in AD markets.
