Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a senior leader to direct Alternative Delivery in the Transportation Business Group. You will drive project approvals, coordinate policy and contract terms, and lead cross-functional teams across HDR’s matrixed structure.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of transportation project leadership, a PE license, and a strong track record in business development and client management. This role requires up to 50% travel and active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 15+ years of professional engineering experience on large transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Alternative Delivery and design/build projects.
• Strong client relationship management.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Experience leading diverse teams.
• Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals per HDR policy and Risk Committee.
• Coordinate with HDR groups on policy, resources and contracts.
• Negotiate terms with clients and subcontractors.
• Foster HDR matrix collaboration across regions.
• Report on Transportation Business Group status.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
