Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to lead large civil infrastructure programs and strategic partner engagements.

You will drive project approvals, negotiations, and matrix-based collaboration across HDR's offices and clients to deliver high‑impact transportation solutions. This leadership role requires 15+ years in engineering, a PE license, and a deep understanding of design-build/PPP delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years of experience in related field.
• Experience with large civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director and oversee pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive the Alternative Delivery project approvals in compliance with HDR policy and procedure, the Matrix of Authority, the Alternative Delivery Policy and Risk Committee approvals.
• Collaborate with HDR Legal to establish and negotiate contract terms with Risk Committee input.
