Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Alternative Delivery in Transportation to lead pursuit and delivery of complex projects. You will drive approvals, collaborate across HDR groups, negotiate terms with legal, and guide regional leads to successful contract execution.

The role requires 15+ years in major infrastructure delivery, a PE license, and a strong track record in client relationships and program management. Mobility across multiple U.S. locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration (PE) preferred for leadership roles overseeing technical design.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk committee inputs.
• Collaborate with HDR leadership and other directors on policy, resources and contract terms.
• Negotiate terms with HDR Legal and coordinate with Risk Committee input.
• Engage with Area Business Group Managers and regional leads on teaming agreements and subcontracts.
• Foster relationships with industry organizations to elevate HDR visibility.
• Lead continual improvement of methods and best practices for HDR’s AD markets.
