Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director-Transportation to lead pursuit, design, and delivery of major public transportation projects within HDR’s Transportation Business Group.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate HDR’s matrixed teams, and guide contract negotiations for AD programs. This role requires a PE license, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and 10+ years in large civil projects, with travel up to 50% and a strong commitment to HDR’s employee-owned

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience on large transportation projects.
• Experience with design-build/Alternative Delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Direct pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Lead contract terms negotiations with HDR policy and Risk Committee input.
• Collaborate with HDR Business Group leadership on AD projects and relationships.
• Negotiate teaming agreements, design service agreements, and subcontracts.
• Engage with industry associations to elevate HDR’s visibility in AD markets.
• Report on Transportation AD status to leadership.
