HDR, Inc. seeks a seasoned Alternative Delivery Director-Transportation to lead pursuit and delivery of major AD projects. You will drive approvals, coordinate with HDR policy and risk committees, and manage relationships with clients, staff, and partners across multiple regions.

You will leverage 15+ years in civil infrastructure and a solid engineering background to guide teams, travel up to 50%, and advance HDR’s AD strategy within the transportation sector.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 15+ years of professional engineering experience on large transportation projects.
• Experience with Alternative Delivery (AD) projects.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Proven leadership and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of AD projects.
• Drive the AD project approvals per HDR policy and risk committee approvals.
• Collaborate with HDR Business Group AD Directors on policy, staff resources, and contract terms.
• Negotiate terms with Area Business Group Managers and clients for AD projects.
• Foster relationships with industry associations to elevate HDR visibility.
• Provide routine updates on Transportation AD status.
