Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group. You will lead pursuit and delivery of complex AD projects, drive policy-compliant approvals, and coordinate with HDR leadership across regions and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a PE license.
• 10+ years of related field experience.
• Experience leading large transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage diverse teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in line with HDR policies and risk committees.
• Collaborate with HDR Business Group staff on policy, resources, and contract terms.
• Negotiate terms with HDR Legal and ensure alignment with risk inputs.
• Lead discussions with clients on upcoming AD projects and contractor relationships.
• Coordinate Transportation Leadership calls to ensure matrix collaboration.
• Advise HDR leadership on trends in the Alternative Delivery industry.
• Work with Area leadership to manage teaming agreements and design service/subcontracts.
• Foster relationships with industry groups to boost HDR visibility.
