Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Proposal Specialist / Marketing Specialist to lead transportation and infrastructure pursuits from kickoff through shortlist interview. This hybrid role supports DOT, county, and municipal clients across the region.

You will transform technical depth into persuasive narratives, manage compliance, and develop staff resumes and presentations. Collaboration with engineers and leaders is essential to win competitive bids and build reusable content for faster future

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal coordination/management within AEC marketing.
• Proven track record meeting hard deadlines with multiple contributors.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal pursuits from kickoff to shortlist.
• Develop narratives, executive summaries, project descriptions, and staff resumes.
• Ensure RFP compliance and content accuracy before submission.
• Coordinate presentations for shortlist interviews.
• Maintain and improve content libraries and templates.
