Job summary

GAI Consultants in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, or West Virginia offers a Hybrid Proposal Specialist role focused on transportation and infrastructure pursuits. You will drive end-to-end strategy, ensure RFP compliance, and convert technical depth into persuasive narratives alongside engineers and leadership.

Experience with proposal coordination and writing is essential; Deltek Vantagepoint proficiency is preferred. Hybrid schedule with regional travel supports growth and impact across the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal coordination, proposal management, or AEC marketing
• Proven track record managing proposals to hard deadlines with multiple contributors
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Creative Suite
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pursuit strategy, schedule, and compliance from kickoff through submission and shortlist interview
• Write and edit narratives, executive summaries, project descriptions, and staff resumes
• Develop presentation materials and coordinate rehearsals for shortlist interviews
• Maintain accurate pursuit data in Deltek Vantagepoint and reuse content
• Create marketing collateral such as service briefs and project profiles
• Improve content libraries and templates to raise quality and speed up turnaround
