Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist/Marketing Specialist to lead transportation and infrastructure pursuits from kickoff to shortlist interviews. The hybrid role is based in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, or West Virginia, requiring coordination with engineers and leadership to turn technical depth into persuasive narratives.

You will manage RFP compliance, develop executive summaries, and build reusable content while guiding mid-sized pursuits independently and supporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal coordination, proposal management, or AEC marketing
• Proven track record managing proposals to hard deadlines with multiple contributors
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM
• Bachelor's/Associate degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal pursuits from kickoff through submission and shortlist interview
• Write, edit, and assemble narratives, executive summaries, and project descriptions
• Ensure RFP compliance and build/maintain the compliance matrix
• Develop presentation materials and rehearse shortlist interviews
• Manage data in Deltek Vantagepoint and reuse content across pursuits
• Create and maintain marketing collateral and boilerplate to improve quality and speed
