Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a seasoned Proposal Specialist/Marketing Specialist to lead transportation and infrastructure pursuits from kickoff to submission. You will collaborate with engineers and leadership to craft persuasive narratives and ensure compliance with RFP requirements.

The role is hybrid, based in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, or West Virginia, with regional travel as needed. Strong writing, editing, and project-management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal coordination, proposal management, or AEC marketing
• Proven track record managing proposals to hard deadlines with multiple contributors
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Adobe InDesign and Creative Suite
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Equivalent experience considered.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel

Responsibilities

• Lead full pursuit lifecycle from kickoff through submission and shortlist interview
• Write and edit narratives, executive summaries, project descriptions, and staff resumes
• Develop presentation materials for shortlist interviews and coordinate rehearsals
• Maintain and improve Deltek Vantagepoint data accuracy and reuse
• Create, review, and manage marketing collateral and boilerplate content
• Drive process improvements and content libraries to raise quality and reduce turnaround time
