HDR is seeking a national Transmission EPC Principal to lead pursuit efforts in HDRs Power Delivery Practice. The role focuses on technical bid development, estimating, and transitioning pursuits to execution, with collaboration across HDR’s global staff and construction partners.

Preferred candidates bring 10+ years in transmission design, a PMP, and strong leadership of EPC teams. Up to 20% travel is expected across multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Pursuit Champion / Manager on Transmission EPC projects and transition to the project team after award.
• Lead technical risk analysis, routing design, and takeoff support to provide constructability solutions.
• Develop scope, schedule, and budget for AD projects, coordinating with land survey, geotechnical, GIS, and environmental teams.
• Assist in Go/No-Go discussions, project risk assessments, SOQs, proposals, interviews, and negotiations.
• Support FEED development and staffing of front-end engineering teams for growing programs.
• Lead and mentor project managers and discipline leads across remote teams.
