Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a national Transmission EPC Principal to join the Power Delivery Practice in the HDR Alternative Delivery leadership team.

The role focuses on technical bid development, estimating and transitioning pursuits to execution, coordinating with HDR staff and partners across multiple regions and markets. The position requires a strong engineering background (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) with PE licensure and PMP, plus 10+ years in transmission and EPC leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering license and PMP certification preferred.
• 10 years in transmission design and EPC project leadership.
• Experience leading engineering teams on EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pursuit Champion on Transmission EPC projects and transition to project team after award.
• Lead risk analysis discussions and provide value engineering and constructability input.
• Develop scope, schedule and budget with cross-functional partners and HDR leaders.
• Interface with contractors and subconsultants to drive risk mitigation and cost control.
• Help build FEED teams and templates for front-end engineering and design.
