HDR is seeking a nationally focused Transmission EPC Principal in HDR's Power Delivery Practice. This role leads pursuit, design and budget activities for transmission projects up to 500 kV, coordinating with engineering teams and contractors.

The position requires a PE license, PMP (preferred), and 10+ years in transmission design with 5+ years leading EPC teams. Travel up to 20% and strong leadership are essential to drive project delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transmission design.
• Minimum 5 years building and leading engineering teams on EPC projects.
• Experience developing engineering scope, schedule and budget estimates on EPC projects.
• Experience with transmission line design, procurement, and construction up to 500 kV.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Pursuit Champion/Manager on Transmission EPC projects and transition to Project Manager after award.
• Lead discussions on risk analysis, routing, design and bill-of-material takeoff support.
• Develop HDR scope, schedule and budget for AD projects with other functional leads.
• Estimate technical investments and present risk evaluations to leadership teams.
• Coordinate with land survey, geotechnical, distribution, substation, environmental, and GIS staff.
• Develop FEED templates, standards, drawings, processes and procedures for pursuit and project delivery.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and discipline practitioners.
