Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) in Denver seeks a skilled Operations Scheduling Supervisor to ensure daily service is covered and on time. You will build and adjust staff schedules, monitor the extra board, and respond to last‑minute changes to prevent missed trips, working closely with operations and unions.

You will analyze operational data, prepare reports for administration and bargaining-unit staff, and uphold safety standards and labor agreements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year in transit operations, maintenance, schedule making, or related support functions.
• Valid driver's license is required; Colorado license must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Operators by providing direction, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Monitor service schedules, routes, detours, reliability, and safety; implement solutions.
• Oversee daily pullout, workforce utilization, and scheduling to ensure service is covered and on time.
• Prepare payroll-related documentation and conduct audits for accuracy.
