Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is actively hiring a Traffic Safety Protector to support a team across multiple job sites. No experience or degree is required; training is provided to start.

You will set up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, and guide traffic with stop/slow paddles while following safety procedures. Hear from the team and perform outdoors in all weather conditions, standing or walking for long periods and lifting 40–50 pounds.

Job description

Join as a Traffic Safety Protector, working with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic control. No experience or degree required; comprehensive training provided. Your duties include setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety protocols. You will communicate with team members, assist in keeping vehicles and equipment clean, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. The role involves standing or walking for long periods and lifting 40–50 pounds, with shifts potentially including nights, weekends, or emergency work. Valid driver’s license, ability to work outside, and adherence to safety rules are essential. Candidates must pass a pre-hire drug screening and stay alert around traffic.

Qualifications include the ability to work outdoors, lift heavy objects, and demonstrate flexibility and reliability. Safety gear such as helmets, goggles, vests, and weather-appropriate clothing are provided; steel-toe boots are required.

Compensation & Benefits: Hourly pay ranges from $16.50–$17.25, with overtime, pay raises, paid training, and traffic safety certification.
