Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Protector to join its traffic safety team. No experience or degree is required; comprehensive training is provided to get you field-ready quickly.

You will set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, monitor site activity, and ensure safety while working outdoors in all weather conditions. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 40–50 pounds are required.

Job description

Join a traffic safety team as a Protector, working at job sites to manage traffic and ensure safety. No experience or degree required; comprehensive training provided. Your daily duties include setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control devices, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and monitoring site activity. Adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with crew and supervisors are essential. Responsibilities also involve maintaining equipment and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility for varying shifts, including nights and weekends, is necessary. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, be capable of standing, walking, and lifting 40-50 pounds, and stay alert around moving traffic. A drug test and safety screening are mandatory.

• Hourly pay: $17.50-$18.25, with overtime and pay increases in the first year
