Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to manage traffic control and safety across various sites. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, with duties including setting up cones, guiding traffic, and maintaining equipment.

The role is outdoors, with shifts possibly at night or weekends. You may stand for long hours, must pass a pre-hire drug screen, and receive paid training plus safety certification. Benefits include health insurance and 401(k).

Job description

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to manage traffic control and ensure safety. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided.

Your primary duties include

• setting up cones, signs, and barricades
• guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles while observing site activity
• You will follow all safety protocols, communicate effectively with team members, and help maintain clean and safe equipment and vehicles. This outdoor role involves working in all weather conditions, with shifts potentially including nights, weekends, or emergency hours. You may stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours per shift and must bring your own steel toe safety boots.

Key Duties & Benefits

Your responsibilities include traffic control setup, operational safety, and effective communication. Compensation ranges from $15.50 to $16.25 per hour, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification are provided.
