Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Michigan is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join our field team. You will set up and remove traffic control devices, guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, and monitor site safety at outdoor job sites in all weather.

This role requires standing or walking for long periods, occasional lifting of 40–50 pounds, and flexibility for night and weekend shifts. We provide paid training, safety certification, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you'll work with a team to set up and take down traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades at job sites. Your responsibilities include guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, monitoring site activity, adhering to safety protocols, communicating effectively with crew and supervisors, and ensuring vehicles and equipment remain safe and clean. This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, often standing or walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting 40–50 pounds. Flexibility in shifts, including nights and weekends, may be needed.
