Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join our field team across multiple job sites. You will set up and take down traffic control devices, guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, and monitor site activity with a focus on safety.

No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided. This outdoor position involves working in all weather conditions, with possible night shifts, weekends, or emergencies.

Job description

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic management.

No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided.

Your primary duties include setting up and taking down cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, as well as guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles.

You will follow all safety protocols, communicate effectively with team members, and help maintain clean and safe vehicles and equipment.

This outdoor position involves working in all weather conditions, standing or walking for extended periods, and possibly working night shifts, weekends, or during emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 pounds
• Willingness to work in traffic and various weather conditions
• Flexible schedule and punctuality
• Ability to stay alert and follow safety rules at all times
• Respectful interaction with coworkers, clients, and the public
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including drug testing

Compensation And Benefits

Hourly pay ranges from $16.25 to $17.00, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification are provided.
