Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is hiring a Traffic Safety Protector to help manage traffic safety at job sites. Training is provided, no prior experience or degree required, and you’ll work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities include setting up cones and signs, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety protocols. Expect flexible scheduling, potential night/weekend shifts, and overtime with pay increases within the first year.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.

Job description

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at job sites to ensure safety and traffic control.

No experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided.

Your responsibilities include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, operating traffic control equipment like stop/slow paddles, and maintaining a safe environment.

You will communicate effectively with crew and supervisors, keep vehicles and equipment clean, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, with possible night, weekend, or emergency shifts.

You may stand or walk for 8-12 hours per shift and are provided with safety gear such as a helmet, goggles, vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and weather-appropriate clothing.

Compensation & Opportunities

Pay: $17.23–$18.07/hr, with overtime and pay increases within the first year.

Paid training and a traffic safety certificate are included.
