Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to set up cones, signs, and barricades at job sites and guide traffic with stop/slow paddles. You will ensure safety protocols are followed and stay in communication with the crew and supervisors.

No prior experience or degree is required; comprehensive training and safety equipment are provided. Expect to work outdoors in all weather, with shifts that may include nights and weekends, and opportunities for overtime and advancement within

Job description

Join a team as a Traffic Safety Protector, responsible for setting up cones, signs, and barricades at job sites, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

No prior experience or degree is required; comprehensive training and safety equipment are provided. Key duties include maintaining communication with crew and supervisors, keeping equipment and vehicles clean, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, ability to stand, walk, lift 40–50 pounds, and work safely around traffic. Candidates must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test, and demonstrate alertness and respectfulness.

Compensation ranges from $17.65 to $19.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime, pay increases, paid training, and certification. Benefits may include on‑demand pay, PTO, referral bonuses, and advancement to roles such as Lead Protector or Field Supervisor.
