Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a PC Network Support Technician 1/2 to support information system lifecycle activities on-site at our Palmdale, CA location. The role requires Top Secret clearance eligibility and Security+ CE or greater, with DOD 8570 certs.

Responsibilities include ticket creation and management, workstation relocations, basic diagnostics, and collaboration with Security to meet controlled intel requirements. On-site support and inventory management are key aspects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• DOD 8570 security certification (Security+ CE or greater).
• Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance prior to start.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office product suites, and remote deployment methods.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits good communication skills and patience with customers.
• Establishes and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives.
• Creates and manages tickets for all support incidents and ensures timely updates.
• Relocation of workstations and equipment between campus buildings.
• Provide basic diagnostics and resolve technical problems via phone or support channels.
• Assist with security paperwork and maintain asset inventory records.
