Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) seeks an IT Technician for Palmdale, CA on the Second Shift (1:00 PM–11:00 PM). The role provides PC and network support, server and desktop maintenance, and security-compliant IT operations in a classified environment.

Responsibilities include ticket management, user assistance, and collaboration with IT teams. Eligible candidates have a relevant degree and a current DOD Secret clearance; Top Secret eligibility is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Must have a DOD 8140 security certification (Security+ CE or greater).
• Current DOD Secret clearance required; Top Secret eligibility preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.
• Experience with Windows desktop OS, Microsoft Office and remote deployment methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers and networks.
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair PCs and related hardware and software.
• Assist users in using PCs and networks; assess needs and recommend software/hardware purchases.
• Maintain security and incident records; follow security regulations and processes for data handling.
• Coordinate with service desk, admins, and IT management; manage tickets and SLAs.
• Escalate issues requiring management attention and maintain high customer satisfaction.
