Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL is seeking a PC Network Support Technician 2 to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will work on-site full-time.

The role requires handling tickets, basic diagnostics, and moving equipment between campus buildings. A Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is preferred, along with knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and remote deployment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or HS diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Meet 8140 requirements for PC Network Support Tech IAT level 2 within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages tickets for all support incidents with accurate documentation.
• Performs relocation of workstations and related equipment between campus buildings.
• Resolves technical problems and answers queries via telephone for hardware/software/network systems.
• Uses Active Directory or similar tools to manage user/computer accounts and password resets.
• Maintains inventory records for hardware assets and supports new installations and projects.
