Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Tools Product Development Manager in Los Angeles to act as the single point of contact for Tools & Industrial products and services, supporting our internal sales team.

You will educate other business units on tools products and provide consultative selling, training for internal customers, and sales project support for new and existing product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of solutions sell experience, preferably in the industrial sector.
• Firm working knowledge of Tools & Industrial Solutions products/applications in the rental market.
• Current valid driver's license with ability to travel 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Target and develop tools market share within district/geography.
• Collaborate with account managers to provide custom solutions and knowledge.
• Support sales calls as subject matter expert to select proper solutions for cost savings.
• Develop and conduct Tools & Industrial Solutions training to drive growth.
