Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Tools Product Development Manager to be the single point of contact for Tools & Industrial products, providing consultative selling, training for internal customers and sales project support for new and existing lines.

You’ll educate other business units, develop and grow Tools & Industrial Solutions market share, collaborate with Strategic, Government and National Account Managers, and accompany sales reps as SME to recommend cost‑effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 7+ years of solutions sell experience in the industrial sector.
• Strong strategic selling and negotiation and customer service skills.
• Experience with SFDC, Dodge, PEC or other CRM software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Target and grow tools market share within districts or geography.
• Collaborate with account managers to provide Tools & Industrial Solutions for major customers.
• Join sales calls as SME to recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and deliver Tools & Industrial Solutions training.
• Support leads via SFDC, Dodge, PEC and other information tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
