Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Tools Product Development Manager to serve as the single point of contact for Tools & Industrial products for our internal sales teams.

You will be a subject matter expert, delivering consultative selling, training, and sales project support for new and existing product lines. You will educate other business units on Tools & Industrial Solutions and applications, drive market growth, and collaborate with sales leadership to win larger opportunities across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of solutions selling experience in the industrial sector
• Firm knowledge of Tools & Industrial Solutions products/applications and rental market
• Current valid driver’s license with ability to travel ~80% within territory
• Strategic selling and advanced negotiation and customer service skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and research skills
• Proficiency with SFDC, Dodge, PEC and MS Office (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Target development of tools market share for Tools & Industrial division within assigned geography
• Collaborate with Strategic, Government, National Account Managers and Sales Reps to provide custom solutions
• Join Sales Reps on complex calls as subject matter expert to select cost-effective solutions
• Develop Tools & Industrial Solutions training to raise awareness and drive growth
• Coordinate with corporate sales/BI to generate leads using SFDC, Dodge, PEC and other tools
• Perform other duties as needed
