Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical ability.
• General shop knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Good human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and select tools to meet print tolerances.
• Use and understand toolroom equipment.
• Maintain back-up tooling to reduce downtime.
• Follow ISO/IATF16949 and SPC procedures.
• Assist header operators with tooling needs.
• Learn toolroom inspection equipment.
