Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Toolmaker for 1st shift (7:00 am–3:00 pm) in Decorah, IA. You will learn to read blueprints, select and prepare tools, and support header and secondary tooling for fastener manufacturing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and shop knowledge, and familiarity with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards. Overtime may be available; sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• General shop knowledge and basic math skills are required.
• Understanding of IATF16949 and ISO14001 is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and tooling prints to prepare header and secondary tooling.
• Operate and maintain toolroom equipment and inspection tools.
• Assist header operators with tooling needs to meet dimensions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Follow ISO/IATF16949 procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
