Job summary

Stanley Engineered Fastening LLC is seeking a Tooling Toolmaker for the 3rd shift in Decorah, IA. You will learn to read blueprints, use gauges, and set up tooling for header and secondary tooling in fastener manufacturing, under supervision.

You will follow ISO/IATF16949 and SPC procedures, assist header operators, and contribute to tooling improvements while maintaining a safe, clean work area and meeting production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical ability and general shop knowledge preferred.
• Basic math skills and good human relations skills required.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and use gages and equipment to make and rework header and secondary tooling for fastener manufacturing.
• Prepare tools to meet print tolerances and maintain tooling to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Follow ISO & IATF16949 and SPC procedures; support header operators and update setup sheets as needed.
• Initiate TC/Rs for tooling design improvements and maintain a clean, safe work area.
