• Strong mechanical ability.
• General shop knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Good human relations skills.
• Knowledge in IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and use gauges to make and rework tooling for fastener manufacturing.
• Operate toolroom equipment to support production needs.
• Set up header tooling to die prints with minimal supervision.
• Read manufacturing and tooling blueprints and select necessary tools.
• Maintain backup tooling to reduce header downtime and improve productivity.
• Follow ISO/IATF16949 and SPC procedures.
• Assist header operators with tooling needs to meet dimensions.
• Initiate TC/Rs and ECs to improve tooling designs and updates.
