Job summary

Food Lion in Hudson, NC is seeking a Front End To Go Supervisor to lead the To Go operations, hire and develop department associates, and ensure high service levels for online orders. You will partner with department managers, manage schedules, control costs, uphold safety and food safety standards, and train staff to deliver friendly customer service while achieving store goals.

This full-time role requires 100% commitment to guiding principles and will involve using company tools to monitor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and be eligible for Food Safety Manager accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order demand and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Lead and motivate store associates to uphold guiding principles and values.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure proper handling of fresh orders, stock and returns to minimize waste and out-of-stocks.
