Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated manager to oversee Food Lion To Go operations at the Hillsville store. You will hire, train, and supervise department associates, ensure timely online order fulfillment, and maintain high customer service standards.

As a supervisor, you will coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and uphold safety, sanitation, and inventory practices in line with company guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or able to obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provide ongoing performance management and training.
• Maintain effective work schedules for Food Lion To Go associates to meet online order demand.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders and proper handling of out-of-stock items.
