Job summary

Relief Mental Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions across our Illinois clinics. You’ll help with patient intake, vital signs, and coordination of Spravato and TMS treatments, while maintaining accurate records in the EHR.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience required.
• Previous healthcare experience required (behavioral health preferred).
• Ability to learn and maintain EHR systems.
• Valid CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain during training.
• Ability to obtain BrainsWay TMS certification within one month (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Assist with administering TMS and Spravato treatments and monitor patients.
• Document vital signs, medical histories, and treatment information securely.
• Maintain patient records and appointment information in the EHR.
• Greet patients, manage front desk inquiries, and coordinate scheduling.
• Ensure treatment rooms are prepared and stocked for visits.
• Assist with billing tasks, insurance verification, and authorizations.
